Where materials are available in bulk bags, the addition of one or more ABBF Bulk Bag Dischargers can enable a single operator to load several tonnes of product per hour into the system. With the position of the rear legs quite flexible to suit the installation, the orientation of the Discharge Screw Feeder is adjustable to any position through more than 180 degrees. The discharge screw feeder is designed to provide a reliable and consistent feed rate from the bulk bag. This is particularly important where the feed is into a weigh hopper or into a mixer on load cells. The ABBF Bulk Bag Discharger may also be mounted on load cells to provide a loss in weight batch weighing system. With the addition of Acorn's Continuous Loss in Weight Control System, the ABBF can also be used as a Continuous Loss in Weight Feeder, controlled either locally or remotely via the plant P.L.C. As standard, the ABBF comes manufactured in mild steel - powder coated, with wetted parts in Stainless Steel available as an optional extra.
