The AFDG Feed Gate is a robust fast and dribble feed gate and shut off gate for free flowing materials. It is ideally suited to control of final weight in both gain in weight and loss in weight batching systems. When used in conjunction with the Acorn GNWP Net Weight Bag Packer, a weight accuracy of plus or minus 20 grams can be achieved with 25 kg bags (depending on material). Available in three sizes and with or without a dust tight cover, the AFDG Feed Gate is also available in both food and non-food finish. Fast feed rates available range from 16 to 70 cubic meters per hour, depending on material. Dribble feed rates are factory set to suit the application starting from as little as 400 grams per second. Where required the AFDG Feed Gate can be fitted with limit switches to indicate open, closed, fast and dribble feed modes. The AFDG comes complete with solenoid valves and is ready for installation and connection to compressed air and control cabling. |
