The Acorn AHRF High Ratio Feeder and support frame is designed to provide maximum throughput rates and accuracy when packing powder products with the GNWP Net Weight Packer. The two speed feeder has a fast to dribble feed ration of approximately 50:1. This provides a very high degree of accuracy whilst maintaining a high throughput rate. A ration of 50:1 can only be reliably achieved with a twin screw arrangement as found in the AHRF. The high feed rate of the larger screw fills the bag to near capacity very quickly after which the smaller screw tops up the weight at a feed rate which enables a high degree of accuracy to be achieved. The AHRF feeder is perfectly suitable for food grade applications and can be accessed without hand tools for quick and easy cleaning by the operator. A variety of optional extras are available for the AHRF Feeder / GNWP Packer combination including the following. Self-Adjusting Fast Feed Timer - for optimum bagging cycle times. This works in harmony with the standard weight control but is used only where very high capacities are required. High Capacity Header Spout - used between the feed source (such as an ACBA Bin Activator) and the inlet to the AHRF Feeder and complete with level indicators to ensure consistent feed rates at high speed. |
