The AVCS Check Sieve provides efficient and economical check sieving of dry materials, in particular, underneath manual bag dump hoppers and receiving points. The totally hygienic design of the AVCS makes it ideal for the food industry. Construction is in stainless steel with sieve material available in a wide variety of mesh sizes to suit the material. The sieve material may be changed or renewed in a few minutes, without disturbing the flexible connection sleeves. The oscillating motion of the AVCS is provided by a D.I.P. rated motor which can be adjusted to suit the material and mesh size. As the material vibrates on top of the sieve cloth, larger lumps are broken down and pass through the sieve. Any lumps which are not broken down may be removed either by hand or vacuum cleaner. Within the area in contact with the product there are no points where product can accumulate, no nuts or bolts and no dead areas. When connected above and below with the sleeves provided, the AVCS is totally dust free. The AVCS is either suspended or standing on maintenance free rubber elements. (The suspended version is shown above). The AVCS is sized to provide sufficient capacity for one operator emptying 25kg bags at a rate of at least 240 bags per hour (depending on mesh size).
