The GNWP Net Weight Bagging Scale is a versatile open mouth bag packer suitable for multi-wall paper, woven poly and plastic bags over a range of capacities. Where a capacity from 300 to 600 bags per hour is required, the GNWP2 is supplied, complete with a separate enclosed weigh hopper as illustrated above. This allows product to be weighed into the hopper while a bag is being placed at the bag spout, dramatically increasing throughput capacity. The weigh hopper discharge gate is enclosed within the outer housing so that dust can be controlled and no product which has been weighed prior to packing can escape. Unlike many other bagging scales, which still use a hybrid weighing system (mechanical scale with knife-edges and balance beams with a single load cell added) the GNWP2 from Acorn Materials Handling features a true, state of the art Load Cell Weighing System with no knife edges, no moving parts, no wear and tear. The hygienic almond shape design of the bag spout, which is available in either Powder Coated Mild Steel or in Stainless Steel makes the GNWP2 ideal for the food industry and a variety of other applications where product cross contamination needs to be avoided. The GNWP2 Packer's Digital Weight Controller features a super fast weight cut off to 1.25 milliseconds for super accuracy and minimisation of product "give away". The GNWP2 check weighs the contents of each bag prior to hopper dumping, automatically adjusting the in flight compensation factor to ensure the most accurate final weight possible. A variety of optional extras are available for the GNWP series of bagging scales including the following: Fast and Dribble Feed Gate Type AFDG -
for free flowing materials. The GNWP range of Net Weight Bagging Scales is designed with the best ergonomic design for operator comfort and safety. The above sketch shows basic dimensions for planning and installation purposes. |
