The Swift-Mix High Speed Mixer now available from Acorn Materials Handling is a state of the art, single rotor paddle mixer designed to maximise your production capacity. The revolutionary design of the non-radial paddles, ensures the most thorough mixing action, allowing for reduced cycle times and higher hourly throughput. Unlike other paddle mixers, the Swift-Mix Mixer's non-radial paddles, are designed to counteract the naturally occurring centrifugal forces generated as a result of normal mixing action. This non-radial design allows the mixer to rotate at higher speeds than a conventional mixer. Because the product is more aerated as a result, the power requirement is virtually the same. In addition, the paddles provide a more thorough mixing action. The end result is a mixing time of less than half that of more conventional, single rotor mixers. The very large discharge door/s of the Swift-Mix Mixer provide for complete discharge of the product in seconds, without any hang up. In addition to having a very fast mixing cycle, the Swift-Mix Mixer is also quick and easy to maintain. The paddles can be adjusted or replaced in a few minutes. The drive is shaft mounted, without chains, chainwheels and tensioners and without the additional forces of chain pull being exerted on the shaft. Quick and easy paddle adjustment where abrasive products cause wear. The Swift-Mix High Speed Mixer is available in a range of capacities from 60 litres through to 6,000 litres. Mixing cycle time, including charging, mixing and discharge can be as low as 1 minute 30 seconds depending on the product. |
